Mockingbird (Eminem)
Eminem and his family keep running into trouble in the area where they live, their house keeps getting broken into and robbed. So when Eminem's wife leaves him and moves away, he decides to take matters into his own hands and moves to Cali to make money on a new CD. Will this be enough to bring the family back together?

Sorry, Blame It On Me (Akon)
A Husband, Akon, is saying sorry to his family for all the wrong things he has done to them, like being away on tour when he should've been home with them, How he was in the streets alot making his wife help him sell the drugs, and how he wasn't there for his sons, he is just letting them know the blame is on him but he is just a singer trying to entertain people and kind of live a double life.

Gives You Hell (All American Rejects)
Our singer has been dumped, hard, by the girl he loves. She betrayed him and he doesn't care anymore. He knows she knows what she's done - he's playing to that guilt. He's taking the opportunity to prove that he is happy without her - her plan to ruin his life failed. He's going to make sure it gives her hell.

Polititians Hillary and Bill Clinton think back on the stepping stones of their artificially happy marriage. They remember certain events such as their marriage, theirs childs' birth and the day they met. They know that their true love really doesn't matter, just the image people see on the news.

Cats in the Cradle (Harry Chapin)
A boy wants to spend time with his dad. When he calls his dad the dad is always busy and cannot play with his son. Later in life the dad calls his son wanting to spend time with him and the son is living a busy life and cannot spend time with his dad. The dad realizes that his son turned out just like him.
